2008 Pecan Festival & Rodeo
June 19, 20 & 21, 2008

Pecan Festival Weekend activities include a County Team Roping, The 70th Annual San Saba Rodeo, a Dance, Cow Camp Cook-Off, 5K Fun Run, Duck Race at Mill Pond, Vendors and Games, Rodeo Parade, Pecan Pie Contest, Guys & Dolls Golf Tournament and Much More! Some Suggested Driving Routes:

Bend Route:
• Turn left out of Mill Pond Park onto 190 W (shoulder) .5 mile to traffic light
• Turn left onto Hwy 16 S
• Follow Hwy 16 S 15 miles to CR 501 in the town of Cherokee
• Turn left onto CR 501
• Follow CR 501 14 miles to CR 580
• Turn left onto CR 580
• Follow CR 580 (pass Alamosa Winery) for 12.6 miles to Hwy 190
• Turn left onto Hwy 190
• Follow Hwy 190 4 miles to San Saba
• Turn left into Mill Pond Park

Sloan Route:
• Hwy 190 W to CR 2732
• Turn south
• Take road to New Hope Church
• Must turn around and return

Pontotoc Route:
• Hwy 16 S to Cherokee
• Turn west on CR 501 to Pontotoc
• Can return to Llano via Hwy 79

Regency Bridge Route:
• Hwy 16 N to CR 500
• Turn left onto CR 500
• 14.8 miles to Regency Bridge exit (bridge 1 mile)
• Follow CR 500 21.8 miles to CR 45
• Turn left onto CR 45
• Follow CR 45 5.8 miles through Richland Springs to Hwy 190
• Turn left onto Hwy 190 E
• Follow Hwy 190 E 14 miles to San Saba

Wallace Creek Route:
• 190 W to CR 1030
• Follow this until it becomes FM 310 (unpaved)
• To CR 501
• Turn east (left) to return
